Custom Classic 4000 Series
The 4000 series is designed for "performance" percussionists. The frames, resonators, and supports are modular and very easy to disassemble, transport, and set up. The unique VCL system provides height adjustment in just seconds.
The bars
The bars are made from African Padouk (Pterocarpus soyauxii) authorized by CITES, so they have legal certification. This wood provides a warm sound and rich sustain, with perfect harmonic tuning. As a perfect alternative to Honduran Rosewood marimbas, Vancore uses African Padouk as the primary material for the production of bars. This hard African wood produces a warm sound and rich sustain. Through meticulous selection of the quality and size of logs, the bars made from African Padouk offer a perfectly balanced marimba keyboard in performance and tonal quality.
