Series Custom Classic 4000
The 4000 series is designed for "performance" percussionists. The frames, resonators, and supports are modular and very easy to disassemble, transport, and set up. The exclusive VCL system allows for height adjustment in just seconds.
The bars
The bars are made of African Padouk (Pterocarpus soyauxii) which is CITES certified, ensuring legal certification. This wood provides a warm sound and rich sustain, with perfect harmonic tuning. As a perfect alternative to Honduran Rosewood marimbas, Vancore uses African Padouk as the primary material for the production of bars. This hard African wood produces a warm sound and rich sustain. Through meticulous selection of the quality and size of logs, the bars made from African Padouk offer a perfectly balanced marimba keyboard in performance and tonality.
