Evans now manufactures all their drumheads with the Level 360º system, which, thanks to the drumhead hoop design, allows the drumhead surface to fit perfectly on the shell. Additionally, the vertical design of this hoop ensures perfect contact with the shell’s bearing edge, resulting in easier tuning, longer sustain, greater dynamics, and ultimately better sound.

The Evans Level 360 drumhead hoop has solved the old problem of drumheads that don’t easily conform to the shell and require forcing, which compromised the drumhead’s performance.
