The Windgong is also known as Feng or Sun (Sol) gongs. The shape is almost flat, and because of this, the vibration of the gong is long with a very pronounced sustain. One of the main characteristics of this type of gong is its emphasized low frequencies and the variety of nuances depending on the intensity with which it is played.
