Classic Custom 4000 Series
The Classic Custom 4000 series is designed as concert marimbas for professionals. The frames, resonators, and stands are modular and very easy to disassemble, transport, and set up. The exclusive VCL system allows full height adjustment in just seconds.

Main differences compared to the PSM2002 model

One of the most notable features of this series is the new suspension system for the bars (FBS). This exclusive bar support system increases resonance by over 20%. The bars are laser-cut to ensure holes are drilled at the nodal point, guaranteeing perfect bar resonance.
This series incorporates the innovative ICS (Integrated Cord Suspension) system. The stand features solid wooden components that provide exceptional stability and resonance.

The bars
The bars are made from top-quality Honduran Rosewood. This wood is used in all high-end marimba models and is considered the ideal material for this instrument, producing a warm tone and rich sustain.

Resonators
After years of research, Vancore’s R&D team developed rectangular bass resonators that deliver optimal resonance and projection in the lowest registers. These resonators are tunable.
Vancore uses the Resonator Clamp System. Each resonator is hand-adjusted individually and assembled using an exclusive mounting system that eliminates any unwanted sounds or rattles.

Unlike other resonators that are welded or riveted, this system uses minimal contact technology.
