Alesis Strata Core

The snare is dual-zone, allowing for independent triggering of sounds on the head, rim click, and rim shot. The toms (8”/8”/10”) and the 8” bass drum provide a wide and versatile playing surface, compatible with both single and double bass drum pedals.

All mesh heads allow you to adjust the tension to set the exact level of rebound and expressiveness according to your preferences. Additionally, the exclusive patented anti-hotspot sensor technology eliminates uncomfortable spots of excessive sensitivity, ensuring a more uniform and realistic response.

Module

The multi-core processor runs the legendary BFD “sound engine.” This vast library of drum kits has been impeccably sampled by top engineers in some of the best drum recording studios in the world.

Sound Libraries

The Strata Core comes with four sound libraries:

1. Alesis Core Acoustic: a vast collection of drum sounds recorded at Powerstation Studios in New England.

2. BFD Dark Farm: a fully acoustic rock expansion pack created by the BFD team.

3. Alesis Core Electronic: the best of single-hit electronic sounds from the Alesis Strike Multipad, ideal for layering over acoustic drum samples.

4. BFD Percussion: a collection of percussion sounds featuring classic BFD percussion packs

Cymbals ARC
The cymbals ARC of the Strata Core have great sensitivity and a fantastic look. The three cymbals included are a 14” ride and two 12" crashes, all triple-zone, allowing for different sounds on the bell, body, and edge.
Their 360º design allows you to play them from any point on the cymbal, and they are compatible with standard acoustic cymbal stands, ensuring a natural response and balance. All of them feature dual edge sensors and profiles that maximize the response without requiring you to alter your playing style.

Hi-Hat
The 12” Active Magnetic Hi-Hat features a magnetic system mounted on a conventional stand. Like the cymbals, it has a triple-zone surface and 360º degrees that guarantee great sensitivity.
Thanks to the position magnetic sensor, every pedal movement translates with high resolution, providing unmatched precision through a contactless system. Powered by the module, it is compatible with most hi-hat stands, offering maximum versatility and response in any style.

Hardware
The stand of the Strata Core is a curved steel rack where the toms, cymbals, and module are mounted. It is solid yet “flexible,” allowing for both wide and compact configurations, so you can adjust the drum kit to your ideal position.
The Hi-Hat ARC can be mounted on any hi-hat stand, and the 8” bass drum pad is compatible with both single and double pedals. The crash and ride cymbals can also be mounted on standard acoustic cymbal stands, not limited to the rack mounts, offering greater freedom in the setup.
