The module

The real “brain of the beast” the TD-716. The V71 is the most complete and advanced sound module ever created by Roland. TD-50 heir, this module has been rethinked, recreated and updated.

The memory of waveforms has expanded enormously. Preset changes, sound editions and mix settings are now more fluid and faster thanks to the color display, with new procedures, touch controls and ergonomic layout of the panel.

The new pads

The TD-716 counts on the latest developments of Roland's pads. The PD-14DSX evolves the previous technology snare drum digital with even more precise detection, lever snare wires and tensor of snare drum. The KD-18-BK offers the look and feel the acoustic execution of a Shell wood and an innovative sensor mounted on the head. The four toms carry PD-10X or PD-12X pads, with stylized profiles and new sensor systems.
