Custom Classic 8000 Series
The 8000 series is a professional line of instruments of the highest quality. Equipped with premium Honduran rosewood bars. These bars are precisely tuned (fundamental/fifth) for demanding orchestras and bands. The engineers at Vancore faced a great challenge in designing this excellent series. With the latest available technology, these xylophones combine the best of traditional craftsmanship with the latest in material and technological design.
The bars
The bars of this Vancore instrument are made from Honduran Rosewood, the famous and prized Dalbergia stevensonii approved and authorized by CITES, so they come with legal certification. This wood provides a warm sound and rich sustain, with perfect harmonic tuning.
In addition to the excellent quality of the woods, Vancore brings decades of experience in bar manufacturing, ensuring perfect construction and tuning.
