Tama PE1445 Peter Erskine Signature 14x4.5"

Designed to be affordable without compromising your quality or sound, the Peter Erskine Jazz from Tama is a snare drum only 14 "x4.5", made of layers of fir and maple with a hoop reinforcement on the side of the mass only. It has  a focused sound and  brilliant. The sensitivity that you have due to its little depth is balanced with the design of the 8 tensors that provides you some good serious. Hoops

The hoops Sound Arc of 8 divisions allow the snare drum openly functioning in all the dynamics, from subtle ghost notes to penetrating rimshots.

Snare wires super sensitive high carbon (MS20RL14C)

To provide a sharper and more sensitive sound, Tama has redesigned these snare wires using new materials, customizing the form the plate and changing the coil pattern of wires. As a result, these new ones snare wires adjust more to side head of the snare drum, which gives you greater sensitivity and a brighter and sharper sound.

Throw Off Linear Drive

This new throw off "Linear-Drive" is designed to gain greater control of the adjustment the lever and more precise control. The movement works in a true linear movement. Even if it gets hooked quickly, you won't hear the typical "coup" of the snare wires hitting the head lower.
To prevent boarders from loosening, this system also has an adjustment mechanism tension.The single-click settings offer a 0.083 mm vertical traction in the movement of the snare wires, which allows ultrasensitive microadjustments.

In each snare drum a special sticker is placed with the signature of Peter Erskine inside Shell.The artist signs each label by hand, one by one, adding a personal touch that makes each snare drum be unique.
