The mallets of the series Jazz Classics have a large bronze core that increases the mass the head without affecting the hardness. Compared to the most of the mallets for vibraphones, the of this series are bigger and heavier and with the handles of rattan have a proportionately larger diameter. The diameter of the handle range from 9 mm to 9.5 mm.
This is a mallet heavy designed for maximum power, volume and tone width. However, if you touch it gently produces a full fundamental tone.
