The Bergerault “Grand Symphonic” timpanis are available with parabolic and curved copper bowl. Both shapes are made from a single sheet of copper without seams using the same patented process that ensures that the bowls are freely suspended with no mechanical connection to the timpani frame. The result is a long, clear, resonant sound with incredible tone clarity.
The European-style pedal mechanism is made with CNC machining equipment with very precise tolerances, allowing for quiet, smooth, and extremely accurate adjustments.
The one-piece support of the leg and the cast parts of the base are coated with powder paint, making them highly resistant and durable. The two 4" wheels with brakes and a third integrated double wheel allow for effortless and secure movement of the timpanis.
Last but not least, the Bergerault Grand Symphonic timpanis feature an extremely smooth fine-tuning mechanism located right next to the musician.
