Short surdos for Samba Reggae enthusiasts.
This style, along with Bahian styles played worldwide, has popularized this type of surdo.
With a shorter shell than the conventional surdo, they produce a drier sound with more attack and are also lighter.
The shell finish is polished aluminum with chrome hardware.
Please note that Contemporanea surdos are shipped with the drumheads detached, as the manufacturer packs them this way from Brazil.
