The Stratus Series
Recognizing a clear gap in the cymbal market, Sabian’s R&D team spent two years developing this series in collaboration with artists and industry experts. The 20” and 22” rides deliver a warm tone with a clear, powerful bell sound. Their lightweight design makes them highly crashable. The 16”, 18”, and 20” crashes are quick and controlled, featuring a low tone and explosive attack. These thin crashes have a fast decay. The hi-hats come in 14” and 15” sizes, offering a crisp attack with a warm, semi-dark sound. The medium-light top paired with the medium-heavy bottom creates the perfect balance for a clear, sharp attack. The 18” China cymbal provides a fast attack with a quick decay. The 18” Zero is a new design blending the darkness of the O-Zone with the brightness of the Aero, delivering a fast, very trashy attack.
