To get the binaural effect it is important to hit in a soft, but firm way, the edge of both bowls consecutively and let the sound spread until almost disappear before repeating the operation. The bowls must be located on both sides of the receiver head, at a minimum distance of one fourth, and hit with the mallet of felt that accompany the set.
