Slingerland Radio King PureSound Vintage 14" and 16 wires. They are specifically designed to couple the exclusive throw off of these snare drums. Both end plates have a 3/16" hole in the center to hold the cable.

They are constructed with a heat-treated steel alloy, and the strands are hand-soldered to a copper plate. The result is a set of snare wires that is slightly stiffer than typical snare wires. This provides a bit less "sensitivity" and less tendency to tangle, but requires a bit more attention when mounted on the snare drum.
