This drumhead features a 5" diameter, 5 mil. thick central reinforcement that acts as a small harmonic controller on one side and adds extra durability to the drumhead on the other.

Evans now manufactures all their heads with the Level 360º system, whose hoop design perfectly fits the head surface onto the shell. Additionally, the vertical design of this hoop ensures perfect contact with the bearing edge on the shell, resulting in easier tuning, longer sustain, increased dynamics, and ultimately a better sound. The Evans Level 360 head hoop solves the longstanding issue of heads that don’t easily conform to the shell and forced adjustments that compromised performance.
