The wood
5A drumsticks made from American Hickory, like the rest of the drumsticks from this brand, are crafted from top-quality material using the latest technological advances in drumstick manufacturing. It is undoubtedly the most widely used wood for making drumsticks and the preferred choice of the vast majority of drummers for its durability, weight, and flexibility. Hickory is denser than maple (about 10%) and slightly less dense than Japanese oak (also about 10%). The density and natural feel of this wood make it the favorite of an overwhelming majority of drummers.
