The wood
The American Hickory drumsticks, like the rest of the drumsticks from this brand, are made with top-quality materials and the latest technological advancements in drumstick manufacturing.
It is undoubtedly the most commonly used wood in the production of drumsticks and the preferred choice for the vast majority of drummers due to its durability, weight, and flexibility. Hickory is denser than maple (about 10%) and slightly less dense than Japanese oak (also around 10%). The density and the natural feel of this wood make it the favorite among an immense majority of drummers.
