The drumsticks made of American Walnut (hickory), like the rest of the drumsticks from this brand, are crafted from top-quality material and with the latest technological advancements in the manufacturing of drumsticks.
It is undoubtedly the most commonly used wood in the production of drumsticks and the favorite of the vast majority of drummers due to its durability, weight, and flexibility. Hickory is denser than maple (about 10%) and slightly less than Japanese oak (also around 10%). The density and the natural feel of this wood make it the preferred choice for an immense majority of drummers.
