A turning pattern that includes a deep traditional lathe cut enhances the sound of the stick and favors working with brushes, a unique waxing process, and double sound tests are key elements in achieving the iconic qualities of the Kerope, more faithful than ever to its illustrious past.

Like all Zildjian cast bronze cymbals, each Kerope is poured and forged individually from raw molten metal. Each piece is cooled and sorted by weight for each model. Subsequently, the cast pieces undergo a complex sequence of heating, laminating, shaping, hammering, and turning, techniques exclusive to the series. They offer greater projection, sound clarity, and durability than any other cymbal.
