This repinique is perfect for any style, but especially for Rio batucada or Afro Samba, as it delivers great volume and features the classic repinique size.
The two main characteristics of the Light series by Contemporanea are that their instruments are lighter and more affordable than those in the Pro series. The shell, made from 0.8mm matte aluminum, is thinner and shaped with a precise double seam and extra reinforcements to ensure perfect tuning and durability. The material for the hoops (steel) and tension rods is the same as that used in the professional range.
