Do you prefer smaller, higher-pitched repeniques? Here is a perfect 08" repenique for Samba Rio and Samba Reggae.
The 08" repeniques deliver ideal calls, and this size is great for shorter sambistas or as a travel repenique.
The two main features of Contemporanea's Light series are that their instruments are lighter and more affordable than those in the Pro series. The shell, made from 0.8mm matte aluminum, is thinner and shaped with a perfect double bend and extra reinforcements to ensure excellent tuning and durability. The material for the hoops (steel) and tension rods is the same as used in the professional range.
