Description

The bacurinha is a mini-repinique that has been established mainly through the Timbalada bloc in Salvador. Its construction is like the of a normal reel, but something smaller. Due to its lower diameter, its sound is much sharper, almost like a drumin.
The bacurinha is being used in Samba Reggae and is a good supplement for classic instruments in the Afro Samba slabs.
