The Magest is made with premium birch shells and 8 mm beech hoops (5 plies). One of the secrets to its sound is the Remo Renaissance Emperor head combined with a Remo Ambassador snare wires, although if you prefer, you can choose another model of Remo head at no additional cost.
It features a standard anti-harmonic ring but can be replaced with a muffle.
You can also change the finish of the lugs to antique gold or antique silver at no extra charge.
