Contemporanea C-PESP05 Super Nylon Head 14"
This drumhead is coated with fiberglass that eliminates unwanted overtones. The Super Nylon drumhead is made with a layer 32% thicker than standard nylon drumheads. The fiberglass layer is on the bottom and, in addition to eliminating overtones, enhances the midrange tones.
This fiberglass layer also gives this drumhead great durability.
Due to its thickness, we recommend it only be used as a batter head and not as a resonant head.

Due to the manufacturing process of Contemporânea drumheads, in most cases, the hoop joint is not completely sealed.
Also, the drumhead may show slight wrinkles around the edge that disappear once the drumhead is mounted on the instrument and tensioned.
These characteristics do not affect the sound or durability of the drumhead and therefore cannot be considered a defect.
