The Masters series began as a set of twelve exquisite cymbals meticulously and carefully handcrafted from the CuSn20 alloy by the artisans at Paiste, and soon after, some "siblings" joined this incredible series.
Masters exemplifies decades of artistry in the production of cymbals by Paiste. A true masterpiece. The Paiste Masters series is made in Switzerland from raw B20 bronze pieces sourced from Turkey, employing the traditional crafting techniques of Paiste.
The authentic Turkish bronze joins Paiste
Paiste is known for its historic 2002 and Signature bronze alloys, but the Masters series takes a different direction. Each Masters cymbal starts as a raw piece of Turkish B20 bronze before undergoing Paiste's secret process. As a result, these cymbals possess the darkness and mystery of the B20 alloy along with the famous presence and definition that characterize Paiste.
Paiste has a master pattern for each cymbal in the Masters series to compare all similar cymbals. This means that the cymbals you hear in the official Paiste audio or video and the ones you purchase from TamTam Percussion are carefully tuned to sound as close as possible to the original pattern.
