This mallet is recommended if you enjoy playing with pairs of mallets. With the short handle, you can play fast rhythms.

The low weight is due to the short handle on one hand, and on the other hand, the diameter of the head, which measures only 7.2 centimeters, allowing you to hold it for long periods without applying too much pressure on your wrists.
The diameter of the handle is 17.55 millimeters, and the end is slightly thicker than the handle so that the mallet sits comfortably in your hand. Because the handle is so short, it is unlikely that you will accidentally hit the gong.
