This mallet is recommended for large gongs and effects.
Paiste recommends this mallet for this size and model, but it is advised for percussionists who strike the gong briefly in a musical piece. The sticks made of thread can be used on different types and sizes of gongs and produce a fantastic sound that is very different from the wool mallets.

The mallet is a crucial part of your gong's sound, and choosing a brand like Paiste will ensure your gong resonates with all its harmonics and produces all the nuances it can generate.
The head is covered with carefully selected lamb wool, and the handle is made from very lightweight aluminum. It includes a practical strap attached to the handle so you can hang the mallet on the stand.

The sound and response of a gong are determined by the size, weight, and material of the mallet used to strike it. For this reason, it is essential that the mallets you use to hit your gong meet these requirements. Paiste ensures that its mallets are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
