Gretsch Broadkaster Standard Satin Cooper

The series Broadkaster began to be manufactured during the 1920s in New York and was the first design of 3 laminated layers. East Shell fine, resonant and with a new sound was the beginning of what until today is known as the "Great Gretsch Sound".
Today they are still manufactured as the original but using all the technical advances of today.

The Shells
The shells Broadkaster are made with three layers of maple/alamo/north arce. Each Shell includes a board the inner layers that provide additional structural integrity to slender asks. Like all Gretsch drums made in EE.UU., The interiors of the Shell are finished with the classic Gretsch silver sealant. East Shell is finished by hand with the exclusive rolling edge of reverse investment, which allows greater superficial contact between the edge of the bearing and the head. The result is an incredibly deep and warm tone.

The hoops
These hoops 302 have a sound like a hoop casting, but are lighter and less rigid, allowing the drum to "breath" better and reach the maximum resonance. The 302 produce a slightly more open and environmental sound than the hoops gretsch of foundry.
The edge stright of the new hoops it is thicker and as a result, it will not damage yours drumsticks as the ancients did hoops. What. This hoop will provide you with a more open sound compared to the driest sound of hoop traditional Gretsch.
