Gretsch was born in Brooklyn in 1833 and all this time has been the election for millions of drummers around the world. As a tribute to its origin and to play the sound of the drums for decades, Gretsch has decided to manufacture its factory U.S.A these jewelry for a small team of veteran manufacturers the brand. Drums with the silver sealing characteristic of the high-end models and many the same specifications as the famous Use Custom.
The shells
The shells of the series Brooklyn is a six-layer hybrid of the best American maple and poplar with the 30th axis characteristic of Gretsch. Of course and as in all the high range, interior of the shells are sealed with the classic Gretsch Silver Sealer
Hoops
The Gretsch 302 are hoops 3 mm thick metal and double flange. His design is inspired by the hoops gretsch classics from the early 1950s the series Brooklyn and Broadkaster. These hoops have a sound similar to that of casting, but are lighter and less rigid, allowing the drum to "breathe" better and reach the maximum resonance.
