Born as a nod to the classic kits of the past, the Catalina Club is a perfect drum set for its sound and quality of materials.
This set is constructed with 7 layers of Philippine Mahogany and incorporates maple hoops for the bass drum, Remo heads, and all the details and care that Gretsch puts into the construction of its drums.

The hardware of the Catalina Club has been redesigned and features a new style that pays tribute to the company's tradition while giving this series a unique personality.
The Shells
These shells made from Philippine Mahogany continue to be built with the same natural interior and 30-degree bearing edge that made them famous. The bass drums have telescoping legs and matching wooden hoops. The toms and snare have 1.6 mm hoops, and all drums come standard with Remo® heads.
