The shell.
Built in the factory that Ludwig owns in Monroe, North Carolina, USA. This shell features a 7-ply cross-laminated design consisting of 4 outer layers of maple and an inner layer of 3-ply cherry with a total thickness of 5.5 mm. This design provides these drums with a full tuning range and perfect sustain.
