The Shells
The series Saturn took a great reputation in the past few years due to its innovative work in the construction shells hybrids. With a mixture of maple and walnut, these shells are characterized by an impressive attack and powerful grave
Some special features
- The leg floor tom, 90o, reduce drastically the vibration to the ground thus achieving the maximum resonance in the shells
- The toms and the bass drum have different combinations of decompression holes that together with the lugs, they are placed in the nodal point and this
- The toms and floor toms fixtures have a new design getting better isolation of these with the Shell
Smile
The SONIClear Bearing Edge axis allows the head feel better and make a better contact with Shell. The result is a clearer fundamental tone, an effortless and more consistent tuning, and a significantly wider range of tuning.
Hoops Sonic Saver
The hoops “Sonic Saver” that Mapex has designed the power Hoops and Die Cast qualities. They have their own sound, which combines the perfection with the Shell for a round and powerful effect. With a weight of nearly 700 grams each one shouldn't surprise you that the hoops Sonic Saver has been designed to receive blows without deforming. The upper tab is folded in and this apart from giving a special sound to the snare drum, spread the life of yours drumsticks, excellent news for you but bad for us :)
