Tama M-JAZZ-3 Maple
The drumsticks of the series M-JAZZ are designed with low volume control in mind. They are made of maple, which guarantees you an agile response in situations the you need a light and soft touch. This model has a lug oval, which allows you to obtain a variety of tones of the instrument according to the angle in which it is hit the surface.

Jazz models have a diameter similar to a 7A but with a longer and thinner neck, which the make an excellent choice for jazzers or for those who want a drumstick light with a good bounce. The lug oval produces a dark and warm tone that is perfect for cymbals ride.
The wood
Rock Maple (arce) is a very used wood when needed thickness no extra weight. It is somewhat less dense than the Hickory (American walnut), about 10% and about 20% on the Japanese oak. Provides great articulation both in heads as in the cymbals. Perfect for orchestral or jazzy uses that want drumstick thick without added weight.
