The alloy
Made from B20 alloy of pure bronze, consists of 80% copper and 20% tin with traces of silver. This B20 alloy can be challenging to work with, as it requires extensive reworking and annealing due to its natural state being very fragile, but Sabian has known it for over 400 years and uses it in its family.
This versatility allows the cymbals in the HHX series to fit into all types of music, from jazz to rock.
