The alloy
Made from B20 alloy of pure bronze, it consists of 80% copper and 20% tin with traces of silver. This B20 alloy can be challenging to work with, as it requires extensive reworking and annealing due to its naturally fragile state, but Sabian has known it for and has been using it in its family for over 400 years.
This versatility allows the cymbals HHX to fit into all types of music, from jazz to rock.
