The Byzance Extra Dry cymbals, true to their name, are extremely dry, low-pitched, with a "trashy" sound and very short sustain. They are made in Turkey with the famous B20 alloy, meticulously following all the steps that have been used for centuries to create the best cymbals in the world.

Unfinished surfaces and intense hand-hammering may suggest that the sound of this cymbal is loud and aggressive when in reality, the Extra Dry series at low volumes reveals its true dark and earthy tones.
With a low tuning and a very personal sound, this cymbal has an "esoteric" character caused by the lack of polish on its surface. Hard attack and short decay with great contrast due to a unique combination of hammering and turning.
