This is undoubtedly a napa or korino head with a new concept, because the napa head is on the bottom, meaning underneath the white nylon head that is on top in this case. This napa head offers you a very powerful and full sound without losing the attack of the hit.

The korino (napa) heads are constructed with layers of various synthetic materials (artificial leather and nylon). Our recommendation is to use exclusively beaters with medium or high cushioning level for korino heads.

About Timbra

Years ago, Izzo launched its new flagship brand: TIMBRA Top Percussion. These instruments from the Timbra series have been developed in close cooperation with several elite percussionists like Carlinhos Brown.
The goal was to create instruments for live performance with exceptional sound quality while also featuring a spectacular design. Right now, many of the world's largest batucadas use this brand for its quality and design.
