Yamaha continues to impress us with a new range of high-end pedals. This model is the same as the FP9D but features a chain drive system instead of direct drive. Designed for those who need versatility in their pedal.
With its new improvements and a design inspired by sport motorcycles, the Yamaha FP9 offers a professional style and performance to satisfy the most demanding drummer. At Tam Tam Percusión, we highlight the most important features:

All the parts of the Yamaha FP9 are designed to provide the utmost stability. The ball bearings, adjustable front and rear spikes to prevent slipping, and a flexible auxiliary frame beneath the axle neutralize any side-to-side movement of the pedal. What is truly unique is the axle stabilization bearing, which is manufactured with maximum precision to provide a smooth response between the axle and the other components.
Independent Adjustment
The height of the platform and the distance from the beater to the drumhead can be adjusted and customized independently on the FP9. The visual markers allow for easy repetition of these adjustments.
Spring Tensioner
The spring tensioner of the FP9 is ergonomic and controls the resistance of the pedal from its resting position until it reaches the drumhead. A self-locking knob eliminates the washers and locking nuts found in traditional designs. This system allows for quick and easy tension adjustments even during a performance.
