This series recreates the sound of ancient cymbals. The utmost meticulousness in the crafting of each cymbal and its completely distinctive character make them masterpieces of Zildjian.
A hammered complex contributes to the unique sound identity of each cymbal and to the dark tones that can be both cutting and smooth. Made in small batches using a 14-step process, each K Constantinople has its own distinctive voice.
The aleación
Known as Zildjian Secret Alloy, this B20 alloy consists of 80% copper and 20% tin with traces of silver. This B20 alloy can be difficult to work with, as it requires significant reworking and annealing due to its naturally fragile state, but Zildjian the has used it for over 400 years.
This versatility allows K Constantinople cymbals to be a staple in all types of music, from jazz to rock.
