The alloy
Known as Zildjian Secret Alloy, this B20 alloy consists of 80% copper and 20% tin with traces of silver. This B20 alloy can be challenging to work with, as it requires extensive reworking and annealing due to its naturally fragile state, but Zildjian has been using it for over 400 years.
This versatility allows Zildjian A cymbals to be a staple in all types of music, from jazz to rock.
