Very nice to adjust - and remarkably light for how sturdy it is. Unloaded basket needs some force to adjust, but that becomes a happy-face once loaded with a snare and the bearing doesn't just move like a feather in the wind, and rather gives you time to actually tighten the screw after adjusting. Or course needs to be mounted to something, otherwise playing will turn out a balancing act.
As one-legged snare stands require their mount in just about precisely the height of the double-bass-pedal axle that bend comes in quite handy to connect them sturdily to the rack.
The more sensible option for later additions to a rack - hinge allows placing it after the fact, lack of winged nut means it's not easily loosened.
Solid and visually striking.
Keeps the one-legged snare basket upright like it's scewed on... which it kind of is.
