Takes a bit of getting used to - unlocking with the stick is rather easy going, but to relock the pedal demands a heartfelt push, otherwise the lock might not completely seat itself and only sustain a few hits. Don't see that as a real issue, just something that needs getting used to. Otherwise thus far a solid hi-hat clutch, with rather large adjustment range, sufficient to even have a dampening pad between the felts, not an everyday occurrence.
